Wait, Season 5 already? Time sure flies when you’re having fun...

We've made a habit of welcoming only gems, and this time is no exception, as our new startups are tackling big problems in industries such as security, data analytics, healthcare and Bitcoin. Actually, you might know them already: you've seen them before in TechCrunch, Forbes, or during the last Apple Keynote. We are pleased to introduce seven awesome newcomers to Orange Fab:

Fitnet: a personal fitness experiences combining wearable technology, biometric sensors, fitness coaching and online workout buddies. Fitnet was featured on stage during the last Apple Keynote and was among the first apps to be handpicked by Apple for the iOS 9 and watchOS 2 releases.

Bitwage: a system that enables next day payouts into local currency (or bitcoin), by leveraging the blockchain technology. Bitwage can send payments to the most inaccessible of places while providing transparency and peace of mind throughout the entire process.

Ayda: a fertility tracker that provides women with the biological insights they need to maximize their chances to conceive naturally. Ayda was one of the finalists for the EBS Spark of Genius category at the 2015 Web Summit in Dublin.

Kryptnostic: cloud services that allow for secure computation, sharing and storage of your data. Kryptnostic was recently featured in Forbes.

Loop: a personal home display that helps you stay connected with the ones you love through your media content. A Highway 1 and Founders Den alumni, Loop raised a $1.6m round that included Resolute Ventures.

Spinnakr: data intelligence services that monitor continuous data streams and help you make sense of them by highlighting major events and trends as they happen. Andreessen Horowitz took part in Spinnakr's latest funding round.

Toymail: an IoT platform that entertains and educates children with dedicated content, while keeping them connected with the ones they love thanks to a two-way communication system. Toymail recently received some interest from Amazon's Alexa fund.

Together, these startups have already raised more than $5 million.

Didn't we tell you they were off to a great start? They're ambitious, and we like that. A LOT. We're pretty sure you'll hear more about them very soon. With Season 5 on track, we're already looking forward to Season 6. Except this time, there's a twist! If working with startups has taught us one thing, it's that opportunities don't come in seasons: you have to seize them when you can. For that reason:

We are now adopting an open, ongoing submission process.

If there is a fit with Orange or our partners, you'll be featured to our partners during one of our monthly review sessions. And if things go well, who knows…? You could get an intro to the likes of VISA, Hilton or LG. So no more waiting! The sooner you apply, the sooner we can start looking for opportunities to work together.

We can't wait to hear from you - and we know our partners can't either.
